The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at sassa status Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to permit the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
